Terms of Service

Short version: we scoop, you pay, nobody signs a contract. Be reasonable and we will too.
What we do
Doo-Doo Dudes LLC ("we") provides residential pet waste removal north of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Weekly, twice-weekly, bi-weekly, or one-time cleanups — your choice.
Who we serve
Residential customers with a fenced yard, age 18 or older, in our current north-of-Pittsburgh service area. Commercial and HOA service available by custom quote.
How we bill
- Monthly auto-pay, charged on the 1st of each month via Stripe.
- Weekly rate × 4.33 = your monthly charge (or × 2.17 for bi-weekly).
- No contracts. No setup fees. Cancel anytime with 48 hours' notice.
Rates and verification
The rate you see during signup is an estimate based on the dog count, yard size, and service frequency you tell us. We confirm actual conditions on our first visit. If what we find materially differs from what you entered — more dogs, a bigger yard, or access we weren't told about — we'll contact you within one business day with a revised rate. You can accept the new rate, pick a different plan, or cancel with no charge. You just need to tell us before we show up for visit #2. We won't silently bill you at the wrong amount, ever.
First Visit Free — one per household, one per card
The free first visit is a one-time promotion tied to your household address and payment method. If you cancel service and sign up again later — with the same card, the same address, or both — the free visit doesn't apply the second time around; you'll be charged the standard rate from your first scheduled cleanup.
Exceptions are reasonable: if you moved, changed banks, or cancelled for a reason we can make right, text or email us before re-signing up and we'll approve it manually.
Pause and cancel
- Pause up to 4 weeks through your account page, no questions asked. Longer pauses by request.
- Cancel any time with 48 hours' notice. Service continues through the end of the current billing cycle; your subscription doesn't renew.
- No early-termination fees. No contracts to break.
What you agree to
- Keep dogs secured indoors while we're on-site unless we've marked them "friendly" in your profile
- Make sure your dogs' vaccinations are current
- Latch your own gates properly (see liability, below)
- Tell us within 24 hours if we miss a spot, so we can come back and fix it
What we agree to
- Arrive the same day every week (weather permitting)
- Send a text ~1 hour before we arrive and again when we're 10 minutes out
- Send a "done" text with a photo of your closed gate after every visit
- Sanitize equipment between yards
- Come back free of charge if we miss a spot (within 24 hours of your report)
Doo-Doo Dudes text message terms
By providing your mobile number through the contact form or signup flow and selecting the SMS consent checkbox, you agree to receive service-related SMS/MMS text messages from Doo-Doo Dudes. Messages may include signup confirmations, service scheduling, arrival notices, visit completion updates, gate photo notifications, billing notices, and account support.
- Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your account, quote request, and service schedule.
- Rates: Message and data rates may apply.
- Help: Reply HELP for help, or contact [email protected].
- Opt out: Reply STOP to opt out. We will stop sending customer text messages unless you opt in again.
- Consent to text messages is not a condition of purchase. You can call or email us if you prefer not to use SMS.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Weather and missed visits
Severe weather (ice storms, blizzards, hazardous conditions) may push a visit. When that happens, we reschedule within 72 hours and send a text. No charge for weather-skipped visits.
Liability
- We carry general liability insurance and animal bailee coverage.
- You're responsible for your gate latches. If a latch fails through no fault of ours and a dog escapes, that's on the homeowner.
- If we cause damage through clear negligence, we'll make it right — contact us within 48 hours and we'll work with you directly before anyone involves insurance.
- We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages (lost wages, reputation, emotional distress).
Refunds
- Missed spot reported within 24 hours → free return visit.
- Visit skipped due to our error → credit to next invoice or refund at your choice.
- Disputes → contact us first. We'll try to resolve before involving Stripe or your bank.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Allegheny County, PA.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes get 30 days' notice via email or text; continuing service after the effective date means you accept the new terms.
