Privacy Policy

Short version: we collect the minimum we need to scoop your yard, bill you, and keep you posted — and we never sell it.
What we collect
- Account: your name, email address, and password (handled by Clerk, our auth provider — we never see your password)
- Service details: your home address, a photo of your gate or access point if needed, and notes about your dog(s) (name, breed, temperament)
- Contact: your phone number, so we can text you about visits
- Payment: your card is tokenized by Stripe; we never see or store card numbers
- Visits: the date, time, and gate-closed photo of each visit we complete
- Preferences: your marketing-email and marketing-SMS opt-in choices
Why we collect it
To deliver the service you signed up for: showing up, scooping, texting you when we're done, and billing you on the 1st. If you opted into marketing messages, we also use your contact info to send occasional promotions (like Spring Deep Clean discounts). That's it.
Who we share it with (our sub-processors)
- Stripe — billing and payment processing
- Clerk — authentication and account management
- Twilio — text messages and gate photos
- Resend — outbound emails (welcome, receipts, promotions)
- Cloudflare — DNS, email routing, and edge security
- Railway — our web server hosting
Each one has its own privacy policy and operates under industry-standard data processing agreements. We don't share your data with advertisers, analytics trackers, or resellers.
How we protect it
- Your phone number, gate access instructions, and any sensitive dog notes are encrypted at rest.
- Card data never touches our servers (Stripe handles it directly).
- All traffic uses HTTPS. Our admin tools require two-factor authentication.

Your rights
- See what we have on you — text or email us and we'll send it within 30 days.
- Correct anything that's wrong — just let us know.
- Delete your account — we'll redact personal info within 30 days, keeping only what the IRS or our bank requires.
- Opt out of marketing texts — reply STOP to any non-service message.
- Opt out of marketing emails — click the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. Transactional emails (billing, receipts, service notifications) continue until service ends.
Children
Our service is for adults (18+). We don't knowingly collect information from minors.
Cookies and tracking
Our site doesn't use advertising cookies, analytics trackers, or third-party scripts. The only data stored in your browser is your login session (when signed in) and your cookie-consent choice if we add one.
Changes
We'll update this page if we change how we handle data. Material changes get a notification via email or text.
