FAQ

Questions, answered.

The practical stuff: pricing, gates, weather, billing, dog behavior, and what happens if plans change.

Getting started

How do I get started?

Enter your address on our homepage and sign in with Google. We'll walk you through dogs, yard, and plan in the signup wizard. Prefer to talk? Text or call us.

How soon will my first visit happen?

After signup, we'll confirm your service day and first visit details. Most customers are placed on a route within a few business days.

What if I am outside the regular service area?

You can still complete signup. We'll review the address and confirm whether we can add it to a route before service starts.

Pricing and billing

How much does it cost?

Weekly service starts at $22/wk for one dog. Full pricing is on our pricing page. First visit is free for new subscribers.

When do I get charged?

Monthly auto-pay on the 1st of each month. Your first month is prorated if you start mid-month, and your first visit is free for new subscribers.

Why a monthly bill when service is weekly?

Short version: your bill is the same number every month, even though months are different lengths — no surprise big months, no math on your end. For the curious: weekly rate × 4.33 = monthly rate, because a year has 52 weeks ÷ 12 months = 4.33 weeks per month on average.

Is there a contract?

Never. You can pause or cancel anytime with 48 hours' notice — no fees, no hassle.

What if I go on vacation?

Pause from your account dashboard with 48 hours' notice. You won't be charged for skipped visits, and you can resume when you're back.

What if my payment fails?

We retry automatically. If it still fails, we'll text you before service pauses. You can update your card from your account dashboard.

Is there PA sales tax?

If sales tax applies to your service, we'll show it clearly before you pay and on each invoice. We're confirming the final tax setup before live billing.

Visits and yard access

Do I need to be home?

No. Just leave us gate access instructions and keep your dogs inside unless you've marked them as friendly on your service agreement.

What do you do with the waste?

We bag it and haul it off-site. It doesn't stay on your property.

What about my dog? Can they be in the yard?

Our default is dogs inside for safety. If your dog is friendly and you've told us so, they can stay out. If a dog is loose and shows aggression, we leave and mark the visit as skipped.

Do you come in bad weather?

Rain and cold, yes. Safety-first exceptions:

  • Heavy rain or lightning: We may shift to the next available day. Moved visits aren’t charged.
  • Ice or dangerous footing: Same — safety over schedule. We’ll text you if we’re shifting the visit.
  • Snow: We service as long as piles are findable. Deep powder may mean we return after melt — you’ll get a text either way.
  • Extreme heat: During heat advisories we shift to early-morning visits to protect the driver (and your lawn).
What about holidays?

We service most federal holidays. Exceptions are Thanksgiving and Christmas Day; if your regular day lands on either, we visit the next business day at no extra charge.

How do I know you closed the gate?

We send you a photo of the secured gate after every single visit. That's the Doo-Doo Dudes gate-closed guarantee.

What if you miss a spot?

Text or email within 24 hours and we'll come back to fix it. No charge, no argument.

Do you sanitize your equipment?

Yes. We disinfect tools and shoes between every yard to protect your dog from anything we might pick up elsewhere.
